The computer impacts all aspects of our lives…it’s where we work, play and communicate. Our monitors serve as a portal to that universe. However, more often than not, we try to use our monitor as a message board. We post sticky notes, taped business cards, work codes and our favorite pictures to the sides of our monitors frame. We like to personalize our space and keep those important items in our direct eyesight.
However, we realized that flat screen monitors lacked a monitor accessory which had practical functionality, that didn’t damage your monitor or wasn't an eye sore….at least until now. We are proud to bring you the FACEMATE® monitor accessory. FACEMATE® is sleekly designed to stretch over the corners and edges of your flat-screen monitor, hugging the frame like a skin. FACEMATE’s bands hold will securely hold your important items against your monitors frame. It’s easy on, easy off. No glue. No sticky-tape. No damaging hardware. FACEMATE® transforms your monitor into your personal billboard, keeping those important items in your direct eyesight and on your mind. The FACEMATE® monitor accessory is a great gadget, gizmo or office novelty gift, especially for those who have "everything," it retails for $19.99....plus, it's Made In America! FACEMATE® is also recyclable and so is its packaging! It’s your space so personalize and organize it with a FACEMATE®!
The Pain…500 million flat screens in the US alone and 66% of us use our monitor as our personal billboard posting up sticky notes, pictures of our kids, work codes, business cards or general reminders. However, current monitor accessories are impracticable, unsightly or required making physical alterations, usually permanent and/or damaging to the monitor.
Market research data - how much is being spent? In 2008, approximately $48,585,000,000 was spent on peripherals & accessories (which does not include software).
Is there Market risk? Yes, but there’s always a risk; however, test marketing data supports its potential success. The FACEMATE® monitor accessory had an astounding 84% approval rating with an adjustment variable of just 2%. Additionally, test marketing showed that 65% of individuals identified the FACEMATE® accessory as a need over a want; and did so without the offset variable factors of packaging, brand or positioning in the market.
Is it a mature market? Test marketing shows the most relevant in response were individuals between the ages of 25 and 44, were primarily female, with white collar professional backgrounds. Venture expands to additional segments once the introduction of licensing of professional sports and collegiate teams, entertainment and other specialized venues (i.e. Disney, Nickelodeon, Dell, Nike, etc.) on the FACEMATE® bands for additional customization/personalization or business representation.
How are we “soothing” this pain? The computer impacts all aspects of our lives…it’s where we work, play and communicate. Our monitors serve as a portal to that universe. The FACEMATE® monitor accessory turns your monitor into your personal billboard. It provides organization through practical functionality, with aesthetically pleasing value for personalization.

Our small company has grown with controlled reserve since 2009 as we've expanded and refined our business endeavors and we are now in the operational growth phase. We are working with Atlantis Industries (in Milton, DE) for manufacturing and we are using Monprene® which is a thermal plastic elastomer – TPE, to make FACEMATE®’s from. We've are growing slowly and have had numerous successes along the way, but are looking to build partnerships to expand collective business endeavors. We were honored to win two awards for “Innovative Excellence” at the INPEX International Trade Show for our FACEMATE® monitor accessory. Our first national retail company selling the FACEMATE® monitor accessory is with Skymall®. Additionally, we’ve contracted with MediaCorp to be a distributor of FACEMATE® to specialty catalog companies for the 2011 winter season. Most recently we’ve contracted with Med Assets who has ordered several FACEMATE's in the standard design for their St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California. Some of our current retailers are:
As for orders, there is no minimum order. If a vendor/distributor wants (6) six, we'’ll send them six. If they want over 10,000, they got it. If, for their e-commerce website they are interested in "Drop Shipment" to their customers, we can do that as well. Wholesale pricing does not include shipping. As you already know, every vendor is unique as well as their shipping requirements. We would welcome the opportunity to do business with you and look forward to building a mutual successful business relationship.
Sadly, none of us can turn on the TV without hearing some type of political bloviating about keeping jobs here in the United States and how the economy is in the tank and how small businesses are needed to support and create jobs. We are trying to do just that; think globally, act locally
