Product Description
Spinal Support is a newly designed back brace, or Lumbar Sacral Belt, that is specifically designed to provide support to the lumbar spine. Inventor has been a licensed Orthotist for over 21 years.
Spinal Support is an easy-to-use back support brace that stabilizes and reduces pain in the lumbar spine. Spinal Support provides focused support to the lowest part of the spine, the lumbar spine, specifically the third, fourth and fifth vertebrae. This would aid anybody who experiences low and chronic back pain, discogenic pain, muscular strain, post-surgical pains or anybody who requires extra support for work or play. Spinal Support is worn like a traditional back brace, but the accurate fit and lightweight design of the device allow individuals to enjoy a discreet and low profile unit that can be worn under or over clothing. Spinal Support is easy to apply and allows for a more comfortable fit than the traditional back support devices that are often constructed from an uncomfortable, elastic material that loses its integrity over time. With Spinal Support, the user would enjoy a comfortable fit that provides focused support to the lower back, specifically the lumbar portion of the back.
This support brace is constructed of flexible plastic, which ensures a longer lifespan than the elastic models, and features a lumbar panel that is set at a 25-degree angle. The lumbar panel is made from low-density polyethylene for a comfortable fit. When a person is applying Spinal Support, they would place the unit around their waist, either inside or outside of their clothing, making sure the lumbar panel is placed in a comfortable position to their spine. Two tension straps are pulled around from the back of Spinal Support and pulled forward at 45-degree angles. When the ideal comfort level is achieved, the user would secure Spinal Support in the front of the device by means of hook and loop adhesive fasteners. The flexible material that Spinal Support is constructed of would fit comfortably around the individual’s waist and would not become overheated, as it is ventilated to preemptively avoid heat buildup. When Spinal Support is secured, the contents of the user’s abdomen, which is usually in a semi-fluid state, reconfigures its properties to a semi-rigid state. Any weight that runs along the paraspinal muscles is transferred through the entire trunk, relieving the individual’s back pain. Spinal Support can be offered and marked in various sizes, ranging from small to XXX-large, or, approximately, a size 30 waist to a size 60 waist.
Spinal Support meets all Medicare requirements for the code L0627 billing out at approximately $350.00 (depending which region of the country you are in).
